Can my family/friends come watch?
Yes, you will be able to watch from the hanger. It's difficult to see jumpers while they are falling. After the parachute opens you'll be able to see them. The hanger is directly across from the parachute landing area so you will be able to see them land.
Do I need prior experience to go skydiving in Springfield, MO?

Will it feel like a rollercoaster?
Skydiving does not feel like a rollercoaster. There are a few seconds right after you leave the airplane that feel like falling. Once you reach terminal velocity it feels more like floating on air. After the parachute opens we'll do a couple of turns so you can look around. Turns under the canopy can have a slight g-force. Some people like the turns and other just want to float down under the canopy. Your instructor can control the parachute however you like.
What if I have a fear of heights?
The experience of skydiving is different from just looking down from a high place, as there are no depth perceptions or reference points at high altitudes. The fear of heights may not be as paralyzing as expected.
How long does the entire skydiving experience take?
The entire experience typically takes about 3-4 hours from check-in to completion. This includes training, gearing up, the flight to altitude, the actual jump (about 5-7 minutes from exit to landing), and debriefing afterward.
